I eat it whole in soups or grind it fresh and make biscuits or my famous chocolate sauerkraut cake. I know of no other place to purchase this wonderful grain. Grindstone Bakery in Sonoma CA is distributing their breads to the Ukiah Coop now. They follow a fermentation process similar to that suggested by the Weston A. Price Foundation that makes the nutrient in the grains more available, neutralizes phytic acid which otherwise makes the grain harder to digest and frees up protective antioxidants. And their bread is chewy and oh so yummy.
